          APPENDIX 4 TO ANNEX 0 (PUBLIC AFFAIRS) TO 1ST COSCOM OPORDER
          DESERT STORM - EMPLOYMENT OF MILITARY PUBLIC AFFAIRS
          JOURNALISTS/PHOTOGRAPHERS (U)

          1. (U) Commanders will employ assigned Public Affairs
          assets to provide maximum coverage of logistics operations
          during hostilities.
          2. (U) Military Journalists' products will be forwarded to
          lst COSCOM PAO by fastest means available, contingent upon
          the tactical situation. All products will be fully identified
          as to author/photographer. unit, location, date, and event.

          3. (U) 'Security at the sources is the policy for all
          military journalism products. Classified products will be
          marked, protected, and forwarded for further review and
          disposition.

          4. (U) Military Combat Camera Teams (documentation). if
          available will be employed IAW current DOD directives. Teams
          covering Ist COSCOM operations will have all miggions cleared
          through Corps Historian and lat COSCOM PAO.
