            4. (U) TITLE. DEPLOYMENT: SEALIFT: Availability c4 Class III
            items for Port Operations

            5. lu) OBSERVATION: Class III items were not readily available
            to deprocess vheicles that had been off-loaded from ships all the
            SPOD.


            6. (Lt) DISCUSSION, Class III items were needed to service
            off-load vehicles. However, Substitutes were not available at-
            port.

            7. (u) LESSON LEARNED: Packaged F'OL items (Class III) are
            needed at doc@,side to se,,vicg/d@process vehicles that have been
            off-loaded -from ships.

            S. (u) RECOMMENDED ACTION: FORS,@M: Coordinate to ensure that
            at least one pallet of Class III items is available for issue to
            each major (BL)E) unit at the port during o-ff-loading of vehicles
            from ships.
