              (U) f-'EYWORDS: RWO (REAL WORLD OPS), USA (US ARMY), ACTIVE
           COMF'ONENT, DEPLOYMENT, MOBILITY. TRANSF-ORTATION, AIRLIFT, SEALIF-R,
           AVAILABILITY, CRIT3 (IMF'ORTANT PROBLEM), ADMIN VEHICLES.

           4. (U) TITLE: DEF'LOYMENT: MOBILITY: RENTAL VEHICLES UNAVAILABLE
           AT SPOD


           5. (U) OBSERVATION: Guidance prior to deployment was that 4@6
           rental vehicles would be available per battalion; assets did not
           materialize.


           6, IU) DISCUSSION: Division relied too Much upon -e"  t@l
           vehicles. Units were unable to be sel4-supporting; eg, Div
           @trgeon was at SPOD two wee@-.,.s without transportation.

           7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: Rental vehicles for basic
           admin/coordi,-iation at SPOD may not be available.

           S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Division: Change Rirload plans for
           division units to include additional tactical wheeled vehicles
           +or admin use at SPOD.
