          4. (U) TITLE: LOGISTICS: OPERATING HOURS OF THE DACG (FORWARD)

          5. (U) OBSERVATION: The DACB (Forward) did not maintain 24-hOLtr
operations at Forbes Airfield. This was understandable when
viewed from budgetary and distance aspects. However, there were
many instances when changes generated by either MAC or the DCC
had to be relayed to the DACS (Forward). It was difficult to
have to call company CDs and have them call platoon leaders or
          the company commander.

          6. (U) DISCUSSION: none

          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: The DACG (Forward) Must provide at least
a skeleton staff at all times; it must be a staff which can flex
depending on the amount of cargo or passengers arriving at the
          forward airfield.

          S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: That future deployment planning
include personnel assets to support operation of DACG (Forward)
          on a 24-hour basis.

          9. (U) COMMENTS, none

          --- (U) SUBJECT: LOGISTICS

          --- 4U) INTEROPERABILITY: PLANNING

              (U) Action managed by- LOCAL, action worked by: RAP number:
