          5. (U) OBSERVATION-. Rear detachments used property that was
          inventoried and.accountable on deploying unit's hand receipt.

          6. (U) DISCUSSION-. Several Battalions le-Ft rear detachments
          that were being supported with equipment that was,to be
          inventoried and secured.


          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: Equipment utilized for unit rear
          detachment Must be identified and accountable.

          S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: That rear detachment commanders sign
          +or eqL(ipment/buildings they will be using and items be removed
          from hand receipts of deploying commanders prior to UPECO
          conducting inventory.
