          4. (U) TITLE- Logistics: Capacity of Holding Area For Passengers

          5. (u) OBSERVATION: Holding area in Hanger 626 was too small for
          400 passengers.

          6. (LI) DISCUSSION: The holding area (626) worked since at least
          100 o+@the passengers would stay in the Hanger Smoking Area most
          of the time returning +or heat and coffee every once in a while.
           When two flights were at Forbes - the smaller aircraft (LIOll
          or DC-10) would locate in Civilian Terminal and the larger 747
          flight would remain in Hanger 626. Had we received a third
          group, they would have remained on the buses until one group
          departed.

          7. (LI) LESSON LEARNED- Prior planning on hanger capacity for
          holding Area passengers should be developed.

          S. (Li) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Winter Deployment   Enlarqe holding
          area in Hanger 626 to utilize the full length of the hanger.
          Continue to use 626 as a primary holding area with the Civilian
          Terminal as an alternate.
