           4. (U) TITLE: Logistics: Vehicle Availability

           5. (u) OBSERVATION: There were not enough vehicles to
           accommodate additional requests for transportation over and
           above those issued.


           6. (Lt) DISCUSSION- Initial vehicle issue low. No historical
           information was available so planning was not developed.

           7. (u) LESSON LEARNED: With Division deployment, the
           Mobilization TDA for vehicles should be implemented-immediately.

           S. (Lt) RECOMMENDED ACTION: With Surge requirements like
           division deployment, get authority to lease "Mobilization TDA
           (MorJi-Fied). The modification Would only specify specific
           vehicles needed.
